About the cottage
Geysir cottage is a newly built, fully furnished 100m2 wooden lodge situated in the Geysir area, a mere one hour drive from Reykjavik and right next to Gullfoss and Þingvellir national park, some of Iceland's most sought after tourist destinations and main attractions of the popular Golden Circle Tour.
There are two bedrooms and a large sleeping loft with room for a total of up to eight people, and a living room with comfortable leather couches, a television and a DVD player.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator, modern ceramic stove-top oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, and a spacious dining area with seating for eight.
Outside on the terrace is a barbecue, outdoor furniture and a large hot tub.
